A little extra inspiration has popped up this time of year. It is most likely playing on TV night in and night out.. it is the classic and much-loved movie “A Christmas Story”. Who can forget the tongue and pole incident, the “leg lamp” or the line “you’ll shoot your eye out”?

It’s great for a night in sipping hot cocoa, but why not take some inspiration from the film’s 9 year old hero, Ralphie. Mix together plaids, snow boots, layers upon layers and throw it all together with nerdy chic glasses. It is the perfect colder-than-cold look that will keep things hot!

It’s holiday madness out there right now. The shops are packed, the roads are filled with hideous traffic and your list of gifts is growing everyday.

Before you head out into the crazy Christmas flurry, be sure to think easy and chic when dressing. Your platform wedges won’t make it through the crowds and “blister-y” should only be a word to describe the cold weather.. or maybe it’s “bluster-y”.. oh well, you get the idea.

Start off on the right foot in a pair of menswear flats; then pull on distressed denim, an eye-catching sweater and last tie on a statement scarf!

Boy oh boy.. some girls just know how to wear it! Off the rack and the minute they put it on, it transforms! Krystal Simpson is one of those girls that see its, owns it and rocks it out.

She was recently spotted wearing the Biscay Dress (currently on sale!) and working it into her “I’m with the band” look. Turning the dress into a top, she tucks it into some skinnies and layers it up beautifully with a boyfriend blazer, ties on a scarf and tops it all off with a hat.
