A little extra inspiration has popped up this time of year. It is most likely playing on TV night in and night out.. it is the classic and much-loved movie “A Christmas Story”. Who can forget the tongue and pole incident, the “leg lamp” or the line “you’ll shoot your eye out”?
It’s great for a night in sipping hot cocoa, but why not take some inspiration from the film’s 9 year old hero, Ralphie. Mix together plaids, snow boots, layers upon layers and throw it all together with nerdy chic glasses. It is the perfect colder-than-cold look that will keep things hot!

We spend a lot of time talking about the right look, how to put clothes together and great trends.. but what about the little extras? Sometimes it’s the small things that count, right?
The perfect outfit isn’t complete without those tiny touches that send it over the edge. The drop-jaw shoes, the stacks of bangles, the hairband that doesn’t shy away. These attention to details are what defines a true style-setter. They help to create signature style and they make even the simplest look stand out.
Take some time to create your own signature staples and kick some style butt!

It is the season of mistletoe and holly, and that can only mean one thing.. an opportunity for holiday romance! So why not make it a little more enticing with a fun and flirty top. Sashay from one party to the next in one of these soft and “oh-so-touchable” shirts.
Sweeten it up tucked into a swinging high-waisted skirt and textured tights, or rock in the the holidays by pairing it with distressed denim, a boyfriend blazer and killer boots.
Either way you will be feeling the love!

It’s holiday madness out there right now. The shops are packed, the roads are filled with hideous traffic and your list of gifts is growing everyday.
Before you head out into the crazy Christmas flurry, be sure to think easy and chic when dressing. Your platform wedges won’t make it through the crowds and “blister-y” should only be a word to describe the cold weather.. or maybe it’s “bluster-y”.. oh well, you get the idea.
Start off on the right foot in a pair of menswear flats; then pull on distressed denim, an eye-catching sweater and last tie on a statement scarf!
Facing the frenzy won’t seem as daunting when you look so calm, cool and collected!

Whether you live on the east coast, west coast or smack in middle – there is a coat for you! The weatherman could be calling for a mild 54 degrees and sunny or 12 degrees and snowing, and the same coat applies. What is this miraculous coat?
It is the short-sleeve Decades fleece! Short Sleeve? I know, sounds crazy, but hear me out.
A short sleeve coat is Versatile with a capital “V”. For the mild weather days, it is the perfect layer to toss on with jeans, a tee and motorcycle boots. For the cold weather days, build on top of your cozy sweater and show off your new elbow length gloves.
So now you have no excuse not to make a statement with your winter coat, no matter what the weatherman says!
